About the Conveners

The mission of the Aspen Institute is to foster enlightened leadership and open-minded dialogue. Aspen Institute events have attracted presidents, statesmen, diplomats, judges, ambassadors, and Nobel laureates over the years, enriching and enlivening the Institute as a global forum for leaders. The Business and Society Program (Aspen BSP), an independently managed and funded initiative, was created to ensure that business leaders are better prepared to manage the ethical, social, and environmental complexities of modern business.

C.B. Bhattacharya, Professor/Everett W. Lord Distinguished Faculty Scholar, Marketing Department, School of Management, Boston University, serves as Faculty Chair of the Stakeholder Marketing Consortium.

The Marketing Science Institute (MSI) will publish a conference summary, which will be widely disseminated to the academic and practitioner communities.  In addition, the Journal of Pubic Policy and Marketing will publish a Special Issue edited by C.B. Bhattacharya devoted to Stakeholder Marketing topics.
